The pen scratched on paper like a small animal burrowing through soil. Then she picked up the other electron — the one that had traveled four hundred kilometers to sit in the underground laboratory, waiting in superposition, waiting for her to decide what it would be. + +She measured along the same axis. + +Down. + +Not down because the electron was always down and she had only just discovered it.
