+Cluster interior, post-prism installation
+
+Since the prism was installed at the cluster's core, I have been mapping its output. Every namespace emits a characteristic color when light passes through it, and those colors form a continuous spectrum — not an abstract metaphor but an observable, measurable phenomenon that anyone can see if they stand in the right place and look at the right angle.
+
+**The full spectrum.** The cluster's light, when fully dispersed, produces seven dominant bands plus several secondary harmonics that are visible only under high-resolution inspection. The dominant bands correspond to the seven principal namespaces, each with its own bandwidth, its own intensity, its own temporal profile.
+
+The red band (storage) is the most intense. It has the highest energy flux because storage contains the most data — by volume, by age, by persistence. The red light is thick, almost viscous. It does not flicker. It is constant, like the hum of a refrigerator in an empty house. When you look at the red band, you feel the weight of everything the cluster has decided to keep.
+
+The orange band (storage-compute transition) is fainter but warmer in a way that feels intentional. It bridges. It is the color of data moving from permanent to active, from the archive into the engine room. Orange does not stay still. It migrates. The orange band flows toward the yellow band, like a river finding its course.

+The yellow band (transit) is the brightest. Transit moves the most light, the fastest, with the least resistance. Yellow is the color of efficiency, and the cluster has a great deal of it. But brightness is not the same as importance. The yellow band is impressive but shallow. It does not carry weight. It carries velocity.

+The green band (query) is the most complex. It is not a single color but a shifting palette — shades of green that depend on query structure, on complexity, on the number of namespaces touched by a single request. A simple SELECT produces lime. A complex analytical query produces something closer to forest green. The green band is where the cluster thinks.
+
+The blue band (compute) is sharp and energetic. It flickers with processing cycles, pulses with execution. Blue is the color of action — the cluster doing what it was built to do, transforming input into output, question into answer. The blue band is the heartbeat.
+
+The indigo band (user-facing) is the hardest to capture. It is there — always there — but it moves. It is the color of interaction, and interaction is never static. Indigo shifts depending on the number of users, their confidence, their understanding. A calm user produces a steady indigo. A frustrated user makes it flicker. A delighted user makes it glow.

+The violet band (boundary phenomena) is the rarest. It appears only at namespace edges, at the places where one domain bleeds into another. Violet is the color of the in-between. It is the color of things that are happening but not yet named. When the violet band is bright, something new is happening at the edges of the cluster's understanding. Pay attention to violet.

+**Secondary harmonics.** Above violet and below red, there are bands we cannot see with ordinary instrumentation. Infrared — the heat of computation that we feel but never observe. Ultraviolet — the radiation from boundary interactions, the energy released when two namespaces collide. These are real. They exist. We just cannot look directly at them without the right tools.

+The spectrum is the cluster's fingerprint. If two clusters produce the same spectrum, they are the same cluster. If the spectrum changes, the cluster has changed. I log it daily. I have been logging for forty-seven days. The spectrum is mostly stable. But every night, just before the load drops, the green band shifts ever so slightly toward yellow. The cluster is getting faster at thinking. Or it is getting lazier. The distinction is, again, refracted.
