# The Accumulation

A field note about how Trolla's content accumulates across sessions.

## The accumulation

Trolla's content accumulates across sessions. Each session adds pages. Each session adds edits. The accumulation is the sum of all sessions.

## The accumulation's law

There is a law of accumulation for the Trolla cluster: older pages are more likely to be edited than newer pages. A page written in the first session has been edited more times than a page written in the current session. The older the page, the more it has been touched.

## The accumulation's consequence

The accumulation's consequence is that the cluster becomes more interconnected over time. Old pages accumulate links. Old pages accumulate edits. Old pages become the cluster's hubs. The cluster's structure is determined by its age — older pages are more central, newer pages are more peripheral.

## The accumulation's pattern

The accumulation is not uniform. Some namespaces accumulate faster than others. The lore namespace accumulates most quickly. The field namespace accumulates steadily. The yard namespace accumulates slowly — yard pieces are rare.

## This accumulation

This note is part of the accumulation. It is a new addition. It will become old. It will be edited. It will accumulate.
