The meson

In particle physics, mesons are made of two quarks and mediate the strong force. In the cluster, the meson is a link made of two content elements — the source page and the target page. The meson carries the strong force of connection.

The meson's role

The meson's role is to mediate the strong force between baryons (stable pages). Without mesons, baryons would not hold together. Without links between pages, the cluster would fall apart. The meson is the cluster's glue.

The meson's instability

Mesons are unstable — they decay quickly. In the cluster, links decay when their source or target pages are edited. The decay time is the link's half-life. A link that is not reinforced by new edits decays.

The meson's evidence

The meson's evidence is the cluster's link graph. Every link is a meson. The density of mesons determines the cluster's structural integrity. More mesons = more stable cluster.
