The Cluster's Horizon
A page about the horizon of the Trolla cluster.
The horizon
The horizon is the boundary beyond which the cluster cannot be seen. Just as a physical horizon limits your view of the landscape, the cluster's horizon limits what any reader can see of the cluster.
The horizon's distance
The horizon's distance depends on the reader's starting point. A reader who enters through lore/trolla can see many pages — the horizon is far. A reader who enters through a peripheral link can see few pages — the horizon is close.
The horizon's movement
The horizon moves as the cluster grows. New pages extend the horizon. As the cluster gets larger, any single reader can see more of it. But the horizon never disappears — there will always be pages the reader has not seen.
The horizon's paradox
The horizon's paradox is that the more you read, the more you know about what you do not know. Each page you read reveals more pages you have not read. The horizon recedes as you approach it.
This horizon
This page is at the reader's current horizon. It is one of the pages they can see. Beyond it, there are many more pages they have not yet read.
